This capture here really bit the big one. This guy skipped out on $27,500 bond. I hear a rumor he is in NY. So I go to my favorite tool for hunting ALL bondskips….FACEBOOK. Facebook will give you all their friends,family, pictures,phone numbers, basically everything about them. I notice him posting stuff like “just hit Virginia” etc… I also check out his girlfriends’ sister’s facebook page. A good tip for newer bountyhunter is sometimes it’s easier to track someone from tracking a more responible family member or friend. Like in this guy’s case, he’s traveling with his girl and her sister. The sister has a good job and has current addresses for her mail and bills,etc.. So I follow her facebook posts and finally notice one that say’s “just got home,sooooo tired , we drove all night”. I then run the girlfriends’ sister’s name and get her current address.
I drive down to the house and find the target house and verify the car is outside. I go up the road and call the local police to assist. The police come out and bring me a K-9 this time. I love when they do that. You no longer have to worry about him running. We run up to the target house and the K-9 and 2 officers quickly cover the back , while me and 1 officer go to the front.
I knock LOUD and identify myself. As usual.. no answers. So I begin to pound on the window and CRASH!! I broke through the window and notice blood all over the broken glass. I then feel an extreme warm sensation on my arm and realize I’m bleeding pretty good. Not wanting to look at it, I ask the deputy beside me how it looks. He looks at me and says in a calm voice ” LETS go back to my cruiser and call you an ambulance. That’s not what I wanted to hear. I told him let me try one more thing quick.
Since I had already broken the window I yelled inside ” open the door now or I’m kicking your door in, this is your last warning and your all going to jail if you don’t open the door”. Just then I hear a voice say ” OK , I’m coming out. The fugitive comes out with hands up and surrenders without incident.
I get wrapped up and drive myself to the hospital where I receive a few stitches and shots and heal up in about 1 month. The defendant is always innocent till guilty..Total bond recovered $27,500.
