Crack, it’s whats for breakfast

So here we go again. Tis the season for revoking bonds and putting people in jail the week before Christmas.

So the co-signer on this bond wanted off for various reasons. Whatever the reason, I am forced to revoke the bond if the co-signer requests for it to be revoked. The co-signer says he was sleeping in his bed. I go out to the apartment and walk on in. I look to the back bedroom and the guy is laying in there awake and smoking a crack pipe. He literally just woke up and hit the pipe!!

He did start to resist arrest but once he realized I was a bondsman and not the police he calmed down. Its usually the other way around. There was quite a bit of illegal narcotics laying around. But that’s none of my concern.

By the time we got to the county jail which was about 3 miles away, he was drenched in sweat. Some of you newbees to the buisness, if you take someone to intoxicated to the jail and the say “we need him medically cleared by the hospital” your in for a LONG night. It once took me 10 hours to get someone cleared by the hospital. So when I notice how messed up he is, I tell him to relax, I will get you back out and get me a new co-signer when you get out.

It’s a total lie but it calmed him down and bought me enough time to get in and out of the jail..hahahha…. bond recovered was $ 26,000. Pic will be available later…having technical “throw your computer out the window” troubles.

A Bond Revocation Story – Part 1 – How not to act as a parent in front of your children

Monday, November 22nd, 2010

Ok this one here is a good lesson on why not to go by yourself on an arrest.

This was a bond revocation on a young lady. I figured I wouldn’t have any issues seeing how it is a girl and all. So I go up to the girls house and knock on the door. She comes and answers and I explain to her who I am and what’s going on. Next thing I know she tries to shut the door on me. I stick my foot in the door and push it open. I grab her and then realize her 3 year old is sitting on the floor.

So she starts going crazy and hitting, kicking and biting me. I’m trying my hardest not to hurt her in front of her child. So then he starts to cry because his mom is screaming and yelling. I manage to grab his shirt and slide him across the hardwood floors and gently into the bedroom and I shut the door. I then “take the girl out” haha. I finally get her cuffed and take her out to my truck kicking and screaming. I then call the grandparents and they came and got the little guy.

I did end up bonding the girl back out 2 days later. Then funny enough, I had to arrest her again 3 weeks later which I will tell you about in part 2 of this story which will be posted tomorrow. Total bond recovered was $11,300. No pic is available

Achilles Last Stand

Ok this was offically the most diffulcult fugitive I’ve ever chased. This arrest occured on 04/27/08. I bonded the guy on a 6 count sale/possession of cocaine and marijuana. With his previous convictions of possession charges/firearm and resisting arrest with violence he was allegedly facing 40 months in the state prison.

So he runs and is very diffulcult to find in the neighborhoods I had to locate him in. Crackers like me cannot get in these hoods undetected. At one point I spotted him and chased him. As I attempted to jump an 8ft wall I dislocated my shoulder and he got away. Previous to this incident I raided about 5 other homes.

Finally I got an address for him through some expert bountyhunting tricks. So we surround the house, complete with K-9 and I knock. The female inside REFUSES to open the door. I proceed on kicking in the door. It’s heavily fortified. I then go to a window and begin pounding.. At that time I shatter the window. The suspect took a quick chance to run, then spotted the K-9 and realized this time there was no way out.

With children inside, windows being broken, doors being kicked in.. He finally opens the front door and surrenders. Total bond recovered was $15,750.
