Ok..sorry for not posting lately. It’s been a combo of injuries, mini vacations and well ..just being lazy.

So once again I’ll post my most recent arrest as it occured on Sept. 9th, 2008. Once again out of respect for the family I won’t post his picture.

I received a call from the mother of the defendent. She wanted her sons’ bond revoked for his safety. Apparently he attempted suicide a few days ago and was worried if he’s not in jail the same thing would happen. So I go out to where he works as a waiter. When I walk in I notice him sitting at a table taking a break. I walk up and sit down at his table. He looks at me like I’m crazy. lol.. I identify myself as his bondsman and ask if he’ll talk to me outside. Without hesitation, he straight out says and I quote “Can you revoke my bond and take me to jail before I kill myself?”

First time I’ve ever had someone ask me to take them to jail. So I handed him the cuffs and let him cuff himself! I figured I might as well make this as crazy as possible. I’ve never seen anyone put my cuffs on themselves.. shoot sometimes they fight, scream and kick not to get them on..lol.

So on our way to jail I find out the defendent took over 20 perscription pills at once to try to kill himself. He ended up in the emergency room just in time to save his life. I asked him what the problem was and he simply said he was just tired of life. He was tired of money troubles, women troubles and life in general. I can sympathize with him.. this is a nasty place we all live in.

I don’t think keeping him locked up or watching him 24/7 is gonna do any good. It’s a short term solution, eventually you gotta let him do his own thing and just pray it works out. Thats all you can do in this case as far as I’m concerned. He needs to figure it out on his own or he’s gonna end up dead. Its sad but thats the way it is.

So anyways tonight he sits in the Pinellas County Jail with Hulk Hogans’ son and hopefully it’ll all be ok for him. Total bail recovered was $5,000.
