One Arkansas fugitive back in circuit court

One of two fugitives whose bonds were revoked in April returned to Baxter County Circuit Court on Thursday while the bail bond company contended its closing in on his co-defendant.

Gilbert James Jesse Jr., 28, of Mountain Home, appeared before Circuit Judge John Putman for the first time since jumping bond and failing to appear in April. He was arrested Wednesday in Mountain Home.

Matt Stone, attorney for Affordable Bail Bonds, told Putman they were surrendering Jesse to the court. Putman revoked Jesse’s bond in a drug case after his failure to appear.
