Pregnant, Wanted and in a crackhouse.

Sunday, August 23rd, 2009

Greetings everyone, it’s been awhile since i’ve done one of these. I’m so busy my assistant needs an assistant!!  Anyways… So for some reason we bonded this guy on a $10,000. His record is absolutely horrible!!  This bond in no way, shape or form qualifies for a signature! So many Failure to Appears for court you just have to know this guy isn’t gonna go to court.  The one thing I did have for collateral on the bond was the fugitives 1995 car title. So I ran the car title through the DMV. Wouldn’t you know it, his car title is now registered in the name of the Clearwater Police Dept.

campos

So I manage to get an address for where the fugitive is staying with his supposed pregnant girlfriend who also apparently has a warrant for her arrest also for bond jumping!  So my C.I. comes out to meet me at the apt. complex where the fugitive is staying so he can point out which apt. it is. While we are standing out on the street, I notice a shadow go to the window blinds and peek out at us. Well, gigs up. I decide just to hit the apt.

So another agent and I go and knock on the door. A very large african american male opens the door for me. I tell him I’m a bail agent and I need the small white boy to come outside. I also tell him just to grab him and toss him out so I don’t have to bring the Police up here and search for him. The guy says hold on and closes the door. Next thing I know the door opens again and the large gentleman tells my fugitive to get the hell out!!

He’s escorted outside and cuffed and stuffed. Even though the girlfriend is a bond jumper, I left her alone. The guy at the door did what I asked and I’m not taking on the extra liability of arresting an alleged pregnant female who’s not out on bond with me.  That bail agent will hopefully do his homework and find her himself. Total bond recovered was $10,013.

On a side note for you new bountyhunters, sometimes these drugdealers and other street people you will encounter will be more willing to help bondsman than the Police. They all know we just need our guy and then we’re gone. They also know we don’t need a warrant to come inside so they won’t want many problems. So don’t forget to identify yourself and stay friendly at first. This was a prime example. Believe me, I didn’t wanna go in that apt. There were quite a few other people inside and the odor of what I believe was Crack and Marijuana eminating from the apt.

To sick to go to court or sick of going to court??

Once again sorry for slacking on the new posts. So this guy here claims he has numerous medical problems.

I bonded him out on some alleged Driving on suspended license, DUI crash and some other minor cases. However, back in 2001 or so this guy served about 15 months in the State Prison system for… Driving on a suspended license!  So about a month ago he missed a court date.  I contact him and he said he was in the Hospital.  So giving him the benefit of the doubt, I rescheduled his court date for him and got it reset for July 20th 2009.

Welllllll…….. Once again he claims to be sick and in the hospital and again misses court.  So I go out to his house today (22nd) and knock on the door.  His wife answers and I notice him in the back of the house.  I go back and arrest him.  Now the problems start.  Apparently he has ALOT of trouble walking and needs a wheelchair for the most part.  Even though I seen him walking around I don’t take any chances.  He also has about 10 different medications prescribed to him.  So as I go to get him ready to go to jail he urinates himself.  This is getting to be too much.

So I tell him I’m not gonna take him to jail and for him to reschedule his court date.  I then proceed back to my car which is hidden from view.  I get in and call the local police.  When they come out, regardless of medical problems, pee pants or whatever, they will take him.  So the local police come out and I explain to them I’m not comfortable transporting him with his medical issues.  They proceed to go with me to the house and arrest him for me. They then call a transport van and have him transported to the Pinellas County Jail. Total bond recovered was $22,000.

We’re on the AIR! Montreal’s only live 24-hour newsroom interviews Craig about the Earl Jones Ponzi Scam

Earl Jones

From CJAD.com – Montreal’s only live 24 hour newsroom:

“Bounced retirement home cheques. Tens of thousands in unpaid income taxes. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in possibly lost life savings. Authorities allege the man behind this apparent Ponzi scheme is Montreal financial planner Bertram Earl Jones.

The whereabouts of Jones remains unknown.”

On the air, Craig took a few moments to answer some questions, and here is a partial excerpt from the conversation.

NOTE: Craig’s last name has been replaced with his first name in the following transcript, where applicable, to protect his identity

CJAD: “Some of those investors are thinking about hiring a bounty hunter – CJAD reporter Shuyee Lee decided to investigate. How much does that sort of thing cost, and how do you go about that?”

Shuyee Lee: “Craig is a Bounty Hunter For Hire, working out of Florida, in the business 4 years and he’s seen it all – murders, escaped convicts, deadbeats, and now a lot of so-called money managers.”

Craig: “We get quite a few calls, you’d be surprised how many people pull ponzi scams.”

Shuyee Lee: “He says while bounty hunters don’t come cheap, averaging $5000 to $10,000 dollars per case plus expenses, they usually get their man.”

Craig: “We know a lot of tricks, there’s a lot of tricks out there to find somebody. In some instances we might be more qualified than a law enforcement officer to apprehend someone.”

Shuyee Lee: “But Craig says without an arrest warrant, even if they find the guy, he’s basically still a free man.”

The broadcast will be airing all day, Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at random times throughout the day and you can tune in by going to http://www.cjad.com/player/player where they will be discussing the Earl Jones case all day.

I’m still arresting idiots

Ok… people still amaze me at the stupid ass things they do sometimes.  Guess I wouldn’t be in buisness if they didn’t though.

Anyways…this guy here was well aware of his court date. So naturally to end up on this site, he skipped court. The judge overseeing his case is a real piece of work. The guy throws people in jail like it’s going out of style. Probably 10 people a day..and he’s a misdemeanor judge.  Give me a break already!!

So the judge told this kid if he didn’t have the money for his next payment, he’d be going back to the slammer. Without a job and the judge not giving the out of work defendent more time to pay the fines, the guy skipped court.

I didn’t really waste any time on this guy… Another agent and I went out to his last known address. As we drive by the garage door is open and there are 3 adults and a couple youngsters around. We observe someone resembling the fugitive, so I pull up to the next house and park. The other agent and myself go running up beside the garage and pop in out of nowhere. The guy resembling the fugitive turns out to be a friend of the fugitive. So after scaring some kids and giving the residents some hell, we leave.

I have another address for the fugitive about a half a mile away. So we QUICKLY rush over there. What a crap hole this place is. The other agent goes to the back and begins pounding at the same time I begin to beat the crap out of the front door. I peek inside and there are clothes piled higher than the sofa!! Dirty dishes all over the counters and sink. In this line of work you see alot of disgusting places but this was one of the worst.  Of course no one answers the door and instead of kicking it in, I decide just to leave.

I get about 1 mile from my office and I get a call from the defendent. He’s at my office!!!!! He says he’s turning himself in and that he’s not gonna have this crap happen at his house. Lol..common sense and the fact he knew I would catch him sunk in and he did the right thing. Problem is he skipped his court date on a real ass of a judge earlier in the day. Now he’s got a few more problems. Should of just went and faced the music. Total bond recoverd was $5,000.

Well sorry for not posting again for awhile. I’m so busy, I barely have time to breathe. Anywho… this fella here I had out on a small $750 bond. No big deal, but money is money. So within 3 days of being out, the co-signer on the bond calls me and wants to revoke his bond. So I manage to get him into my office, problem is he brought his 8 month old child in with him. I explained to him what was going on. So then he begins to cry and plead for a break. He promises to go to each and every court date and to check in with me personally every week. So to avoid the hassel of dealing with the little one and taking him back to the county, I cut him a break.

So about two weeks go by and he checks in like he’s supposed to. Then out of the blue he decides not to show up for court!! Some people are idiots…he swore to me up and down he’d go to court. Soooo I take this one personally as I told him I would if he skipped on me. Within 3 hours after missing court I located him at a local St. Petersburg park. I happen to also notice an officer close by too.. so I told the officer who he was and he went over there and arrested the guy for me. I made sure I said hi to him! He was arrested and is currently in custody at Pinellas County Jail with a zero bond. That means your not getting out. Total bond recovered was $750. Waste of my time I tell ya.

Making quick decisions when serving violent felony warrants

First off, sorry for not posting for awhile. Having a bail bond referral service is one thing… having one that gets CONSTANT calls for bonds all over the country is another. We successfully created the first nationwide bail bond referral service that actually works.

So back to the story… Just when I was having some free time to work on my side project this guy decides to skip court. Normally I could put it off for 4 weeks or so if it wasn’t um… a $110,000 bondskip!!! Then to add insult to injury, I find out this guy previously was sentenced to 25 years in prison back in 1991 for Attempted First Degree Murder and 5 years for escape.

So naturally I bond him on alleged Armed Burglary, Kidnapping, Aggravated Battery on a person over 65, Felony violation of probation.  Another agent and I go to his last known address. I knock and of course, no answer. I send the other agent to the back of the apartment and continue knocking and ringing the doorbell. After about 10 minutes of this I notice a car pull up and park in front of the apartment building. As soon as they park, I notice my fugitive step out of the car and walk to the trunk of the car.

I quickly rush him and in the blink of an eye get one cuff on, I then proceed to cuff the other hand and I notice a cast which is way to big to cuff. Two more people step out of the car and I don’t have him cuffed yet. Most cops would cuff him to his belt, however I’m not worried about the fighting, I’m worried about the running. I also look at him and notice that look in his eye. I know that look, the I’m outta here look!!!

So I’m standing with the cuff in my hand and need to figure something out very quickly. I did something I wouldn’t recommend and put the free cuff on MY wrist. No running now huh??  I quickly whisk him away to the car and take him to the county jail. He’s of course innocent till proven guilty. Total bond recovered was $110,000.

Also any bondsman who want bond referrals let me know, I don’t get paid till you do. I service most major cities and states. Thanks again….

Popping my cherry

Sunday, May 17th, 2009

Ok..sorry ya’ll, im swamped with work. Anyways I decided to put my very first capture i ever participated in. I was just new to the buisness and excited about getting in and arresting people. A feeling by the way that you lose VERY quickly.  So anyways i met up with the companys’  full time bondsman,we’ll call him JUAN. JUAN is a very cool guy. While other people may not like his style of hunting or think he pushes the envelope too far, I personally like him and think he’s a great bondsman. I can tell ya one thing, if I was a fugitive I’d prefer JUAN not be the one looking for me..lol.  So anyways we had a guy skip on a $25,000 bond. I met up with JUAN one night and we drove about an hour north of Clearwater.  We finally locate the house, which turned out to be just gigantic and very remote. JUAN calmy hops out and begins to arm himself. We were goin in so strong JUAN probably could of fought off a small group of al-qaeda.  So we approach the house and manage to wake up the residents. After about a 30 min. search of the home there is no sign of the fugitive. The next day comes and JUAN manages to find out about an appointment the fugitive has at a doctors office. So we go and set up. After only about 20 minutes a truck pulls up and out steps the target. JUAN  and I patiently wait for the target to finish up his appointment. As soon as he leaves the building ,JUAN goes flying in,jumps out and arrests the fugitive in the blink of an eye.  Total bond recovered was $25,000. Unfortunetly I cannot get a picture of this guy yet due to how long ago it was. Im working on it and will post it when i get a picture. On a side note to the bountyhunters and limited surety agents reading this , I am currently interested in leasing this website if your needing some xtra work. Serious inquiries only. thanks again.

Apprehending a Fugitive at a Mansion as a Porn Movie Scene is Being Filmed

Sunday, May 10th, 2009

Well here we are …another day in paradise.  This capture occured quite some time ago. Talking to this girl on the phone she seemed like a normal girl but looking at her record you would come to another conclusion.

ashley

We bonded her on alleged prostitution and driving on suspended license charges. Both of which are misdemeanors. No biggy right?? Naturally she decides to skip court. I just don’t understand people sometimes.. don’t skip on stupid stuff like this!!

Anyways… the co-signer had lost contact with her. I manage to do some digging around and hear that she’s allegedly at this mansion of a house where the residents allegedly make porn movies. I decide to set up for a bit and watch the house. It’s got some big windows and it’s pretty easy to see in for the most part.

About 30 minutes go by and I see the fugitive in the house. She appears to be the only one there. So I sneak in the back yard and enter the pool area. Sure enough there’s two people doin the shi-bangabang!! There’s 2 cameras on tripods filming it. I politely say excuse me and casually walk by them and slide the patio door open and enter the home. They both looked pretty shocked!! I walk in and arrest my fugitive without incident.

I did ask her if she was participating in the porn and she just said she was ONLY performing spankings and nothing more……total bond recovered was $2,500.

No more Mr. Nice Guy – Recovering Your Bond thru Collateral and Intimidation

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

Ok..here’s another example of resolving your bond skips without apprehending the fugitive. Sometimes having some sort of leverage on the co-signer can put an end to things.

This guy skipped on a $5,000 bond. At one time he was charged with attempted first degree murder. That case was eventually dropped and I bonded him on an alledged aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

elton1

I had some of his family as co-signers. They are originally from Albania.  So really all I had was a few addresses and knew he frequented a local strip club.  So I decide to go to all the addresses I had for him and the local police assisted but no sign of my guy anywhere. Being forced to hang out in the strip club he was a regular at also turned up nothing. Seems he up and vanished. So I decided to go to plan B.

I wait till its REAL late at night. I go pounding on the father’s door. I wake up the house. For legal reasons (hehe) I cannot reveal what was all said but lets just say I made some promises to his family that weren’t very nice. Sometimes the ONLY way to get things resolved is to get very nasty. These people need to realize this isn’t a joke and they need to pay this money or else.

So anyways after my little “talking to” the family came in the very next morning with $2,500 cash and two cars for me to sell to  get the other $2,500. Legally I cannot make money off the cars and the $5,000 would be returned to the family if the warrant is served. So if I had a lamborghini as collateral on this bond I could only sell it for $5,000.  I sold the two cars very quickly and paid the $5,000 to the courts. The defendant still has felony warrants for his arrest. Total bond recovered was $5,000.

How to arrest a high class hooker

Friday, May 1st, 2009

This one certainly was a nice change of pace. One of our fellow bondsman in Texas had a lovely young bond skip here in the Tampa area working for an escort service.  Basically I set up an “appointment” with her at a local hotel. I responded via email with her quite a  few times.  She wanted pictures and references and where I worked, ugh too much. But anyways I successfully B.S. everything and our date was on!! woo hoo!!  lol.

Stacy

So I had our meeting set up for 8pm. I ordered a lovely 5 hour session for $1,400. Yikes huh??  So I get to the hotel early. I have a few friends who are Police and they assisted. We were basically waiting for a new model white BMW to come in. So about 7:40pm I recieve a call from our fugitive. After some sexy talk she says she’s on her way. Naturally 8:30pm comes along and still nothing. Then all the sudden a white BMW pulls up and cop cars and bondsmans come from every which way but loose.

She’s quickly apprehended and arrested and transported to the local jail.  Along with having her husband in the car they also had a young boy with them..about 5 years old or so. Sad, sad people. Total bond recovered was $25,000.  I’ll give ya’ll a treat and put the link to her escort profile with additional pics…enjoy…..***edit 5/5/2009 – it seems as if the link has died…http://www.eros-tampa.com/files/hs-stacy132-stacy1.htm
